Born in 1946 in Hamburg, Germany.
Currently lives in Hamburg.
Theodor is a photographer with focus on black and white and analogue photography.
A photographer does not create the reality but rather chooses from what he perceives around him and condenses and intensifies this in the dark room.
Without the colour information the photograph becomes estranged and allows the spectator to draw his/her own conclusions and interpretations.
The interdisciplinary project collaboration of independent artists continuously provides room for new and interesting perspectives.
As a member of Kobalt, I have participated in similar projects in Armenia and Russia.

Ο Theodor είναι φωτογράφος με εξειδίκευση στην ασπρόμαυρη και αναλογική φωτογράφιση.
Ο φωτογράφος δεν δημιουργεί την πραγματικότητα, αλλά διαλέγει απο αυτά που βλέπει γύρω του και τα συνθέτει στο εργαστήριο.
Χωρίς την χρωματική πληροφορία, η φωτογραφία αποξενώνεται και αφήνει τον θεατή να βγάλει τα δικά του συμπεράσματα.
Η πολυμορφική συνεργασία ανεξαρτήτων καλλιτεχνών, δημιουργεί χώρο για καινούριες ενδιαφέρουσες σκοπιές.
Ως μέλος του Kobalt, έχω συμμετάσχει σε ίδιες συνεργασίες στην Αρμενία και στην Ρωσία.
