Painting for me is transforming architecture and natural forms and shapes by the free use of colour into something new. Through my extensive travelling I have absorbed the taste and the spectrum of the Orient and coming to Paros - the explosion of light and hues of the Cyclades- I started to paint again. Here I experienced the variety of White at noon, the shimmering Blue in the afternoon and the everchanging Red at sunset.
