I am very interested in all the arts, and studied ballet for many years. I have never had any skill as an artist or sculptor but have always loved to see beautiful or unusal things. My husband loves to collect porcelain as well as many nineteenth and twentieth century paintings from Europe, England (where he lived for 35years) and more recently we have started to collect some Greek paintings.
Our idea of a holiday is to aim for a capital and explore as many museums and art galleries as our feet will allow...
Living on an island gives you that advantage, you do not feel you have to rush for the sun and relaxation, you can spend your holidays in the art capitals of Europe.
